one of the local gyms has an "open gym" time on wednesday and thursday mornings. our moms group decided to go. the girls had so much fun!! we even discovered a new talent for madeline... she can hang on the bar and lift up her legs. which i think is pretty good for her age :)
shortly after her hanging debut, she fell and bit her lip which resulted in quite a lot of blood. she was fine, but it did cause us to end our outing a little sooner than planned. man lips bleed a lot!!

Yes - lips and mouths bless ALOT! Boys make this evident at a young age. I will say.... Sam is not even close to getting his legs like that on the bar. We have masted the seat drop.... but i stick to the fact that their bellies are big and therefore they have trouble getting there legs up to the bar! They call them "bat hangs" at our gym. Don't they just love it!
I am impressed by Madeline's strength! And we have had our share of busted/bloody lips... i think some kids are more prone to them (or maybe just more accident-prone!).
