"it's no-wing, it's no-wing"

i keep telling my children that it is unusual for it to snow in wilmington. but since it has snowed for the last THREE years in a row... they are having a hard time believing me!!
unfortunately we started out this weekend with things not going so well... we were all sick (well 4 out of 5). brooke threw up friday night, then me and hana saturday, and jack saturday night.
so hearing that it was going to snow, school was canceled, and we were stuck in the house for yet another day did not make me excited.
but to stave off cabin fever, we did some fun things.

we started by painting some fish (hana got them yesterday at a birthday party).then the girls played outside in the snow and they lasted longer than they normally do!all except for poor madeline...when they came in they got to drink some yummy (homemade!) hot chocolate!!

madeline did get some of that... her cup just isn't as cute for picturesso far the "no-wing" day has been fun!!
