happy 4th of july!

i am a little behind on some of my posts... noah had a great birthday party last weekend, the girls also had a ballet performance. both of which i got some good pictures for. i just haven't gotten around to editing and posting them :)
but on to the 4th of july... we had another cook out and fireworks at our house :) i always look forward to having people over to our house. we don't do it a lot... but the 4th of july is our holiday and i look forward to doing it. so we had a few people over to cook out (i am just not quite ready to have a whole house full and feed them!). then, closer to fireworks time, more people came for desert and the firework display. as always, new people were not quite sure what to expect for the fireworks. but they are blown away by the display. it is amazing!

i tried to get a picture of the girls before the people got there...
madeline was not having it. she was made at me because i tried to put shoes on her!some pre-firework people :)the kids playing with balloons that fly through the airit flies! they love them!!blowing up the balloons on their own :)noah watching a balloon fly!

then we headed out front to eat desert and wait for fireworks... and the group grew
sparklers!beautiful!they make great pictures!
