Wrightsville Beach Half

I ran my 3rd half!  The weather was not great, it was rainy/ misty and it was hot at the beginning and chilly by the end... go figure!! The start was a little chaotic, but once it got started it was good :)  I felt like we were going at a great pace.  I felt really good.  The run was tough but good.  Then I checked my watch with about .5 miles to go and I knew that we were not going to make it in a time that I wanted.  Our time was fine... 2:07:20 which is exactly 4 SECONDS faster than last year.  I guess I am happy to know that it was faster, but come on!! That was my only complaint.  I was disappointed that after, what felt like a great race, my time wasn't faster than it was.  Oh well! I guess there is always next year :)
