this was not so evident the day they took pictures at school. normally, i am very aware of how my children look. i want them to dress cute and be neat and clean. for whatever reason, this particular day i fell very short. we were a day past a needed bath and i just threw her in an outfit. something that i thought "well it doesn't really matter if she messes up this outfit at school." it wasn't until many hours later i was at the gym and monica said that josh had picture day at school. at that moment i remembered that hana did also and was struck by the mental picture of her leaving the house that morning. when she got home she looked even worse than she did that morning. i could only hope that the pictures were taken before she got herself in that state... alas i was sadly disappointed... not only is her outfit horrible, her hair is a mess, and her smile is crazy.
and please grandparents, do not write me and tell me how wrong i am. i know hana is a beautiful child, these pictures just don't show it!! and yes, i illegally took pictures of the pictures. but i can assure you i wont be making any copies of them!!

oh for the love of school pictures. aaah :) and hana is beautiful. no doubt about that. dern fake flowers and weird lighting and quirky poses ;)
hate the fake flowers... totally blaming that. and if you are saying 3/4 length cargo army colored pants aren't cool... well then darn my current outfit.
