but i was a little worried that our neighborhood would forget to do fireworks on the first time that other people planned to stay and view them. 9:00 came... no fireworks. 9:15... still no fireworks. but at 9:25 they began. the kids were mesmerized and so were the adults. everyone was very impressed with the display. apparently i had not accurately conveyed the size of our fireworks... they really are quite impressive :)

they ran to the fence ending in a line-up... sadly brooke never made it before they were off again. i even heard her say "wait for me guys!" so sad. one of these days brookie, one of these days!
