We booked this family vacation to be right before school started. At that time we didn't know that the girls would be getting into year round... so we had to take them out of school for a couple of days. Oh well!!
We had a great trip!! But our trip didn't get off to a great start... the DAY before we left, Brooke fell and hit her face on the side table needing 3 stitches. The very hard part was that she could not put her face under the water! That makes a trip to the place the girls call "the place with a lot of pools" a little tricky!!
They had a miniature golf course at the hotel
We went to a museum close by
We walked on the beach and collected shells
We spent most of one of the days at the aquarium. They have a very impressive tank with a moving sidewalk running through it. It looks like you are swimming with the sharks. The only bad things was that it gave me vertigo again!
We had a yummy lunch at the Nacho Hippo!
We went back to the aquarium for a mermaid "show"
Brooked LOVED the mermaid and wanted her to be her friend!
We went to build a bear and let the girls each pick out a stuffed animal to make.
Madeline's "addie bear" is still one of her favs!
We got doughnuts!

It was a wonderful trip!! It is always sad when they come to an end!
