we go to the pumpkin patch every year. we even each get to select a pumpkin. but we buy the tiny ones... the dollar pumpkins. due to the size selections, we have never ever carved pumpkins. now my mom may beg to differ, but i really don't ever remember carving a pumpkin. since we have never carved one and are not really sure how to carve... we had to watch an online video.
we were very surprised when our sweet neighbor (calling herself the "pumpkin fairy") brought us 5 large pumpkins. as to not seem ungrateful, we HAD to carve them. so carve them we did!!

We used to carve pumpkins silly! You hated the yuckie insides....we always used really big spoons and mom had those yellow rubber gloves. Come on.....the girl who remembers everything embarrassing I've ever done can't remember pumpkin carving!
