Our new baby girl... Jenna!

So we got our puppy!! She is an adorable little girl!!  So far she is really laid back.  She is kind of timid, but I think that is just the newness of her new house.  The girls love her already!!  Here she is!!

Yup... another update

So my life is a little crazy and despite my best intentions I don't get around to updating this blog very often.  And more often than not, when I do update it is in bullets.  Well this post will be no different!  Here come the bullets...

• Brooke loves school and is doing great.  Last week, the letter of the week was "M"... so we cut out pictures in the magazines and sent things to school that started with "M".  This week is "Y"... not so easy!! But we are doing our best :)  She is loving it... but she talks all of the time about being in Kindergarten and going to school with Hana!! That will be here soon enough!
• Hana is really liking 1st grade.  I haven't gone in to help in the classroom yet, they have been doing testing and haven't started groups yet.  They should start next week :) I look forward to meeting all of her new classmates!
• Madeline is... well Madeline.  She is super super verbal.  She says whole sentences.  My favorite thing is that she says "my" instead of "me".  So she would say... "my is a pincess"  Those little imperfections are so cute when it is your last baby!!
• We are most likely getting a dog.  A Schnauzer.  We are big dog people. But when you have a small house with 3 kids, one kid with allergies, the size of the dog doesn't matter so much :) We are picking the dog out on Thursday...

• I am still leading my Moms group.  We are studying the Book of Acts. Great study!
• Jack is doing a tennis ladder.  It is great for him to get out, meet new people and play!!
• We got Direct TV.  We were unhappy with our Charter cable and the way they treated their established customers... so we switched.  So far we love it.  A lot more channels!!
• I have been doing a lot of photography sessions and I have a lot coming up.  I even did my first wedding.  It was very stressful and parts of it were hard.  But it was a good learning experience and I am glad that I did it. Here are two of my favorites from the ceremony.

Brooke's first day of pre-school!

Today was Brooke's first day of 4 year old preschool.  This is the first time that we have done the 4 year old preschool here.  Hana was in a different school at this age... so this is all new to us!  So far I am really liking the curriculum.  In the 3 year old class, it was more about playing.  This year they are doing a letter a week.  They are each bringing in things or pictures of things that start with the letter :) It should be a good year, I am excited for her!

Of course I took some pictures! (And yes, she is wearing the same shirt Hana wore on her first day... well not the exact same shirt, they each have their own size.  I bought it for Brooke first and liked it so much I went back and got Hana one too)

Brooke's Orientation

Today was the orientation for Brooke's preschool class.  She is going 3 days a week again this year.  She had a good time going in to meet her new teachers and the new kids in her class. She went right in and started playing.  I know she is going to love it again this year!!
